The-Boombox-Hearts-hamar

The Boombox Hearts released their first album“Hamar” on 17. March 2014. You might have heard of them before, singing „Cover me” by Bruce Springsteen in 2011. The band is a bunch of five, mixing rock, indie and country with a great amount of talent and sensitivity.

There is something about „Hamar” that makes it a perfect soundtrack for cycling. Slow paced, serene, vibrant, with Ivan’s warm vocal and road whispering stories of a promising tomorrow, it feels like music made in Copenhagen. But as they sing about a sprained heart, „Hamar” has the potential to make you sad to the bone.

Only yesterday I was buying groceries and one of the song shut me off from the outside world. Try to picture a really lonely looking person, surrounded by indifferent apples and cauliflowers.

Don’t miss The Boombox Hearts and their “Hamar”, it’s a great album!
