People, get ready for some musical eclecticism! Mademoiselle Karen released her brand new album called “Comme Les Garçons” today, on 5. March!

It is a multicultural fusion as Karen sings in, wait for it… Danish, Polish, French and English! Look at the Baltic sea on the map, Poland and Denmark are practically neighbours. The Polish part of our team is very pleased to find special treats here, such as “Kawa zimna” (“Coffee is cold”), a story of a broken heart in an empty kitchen.

The album is also a fusion of genres: alternative pop with bits of rap spelled with a French accent and Danish sung poetry.

The Polish audience may also recognise that Karen has been working with Czeslaw Mozil for some time. Karen will soon come for a tour around Poland – find out more about it HERE.

Listening to this album makes us think of Amélie Poulain who decided to rebel a bit against her innate optimism and took a really fast spin on Montmartre Carousel, we like it!
